According to the 2021 Business Agility Report, it takes 6 to 18 months to initiate Agility journeys, and significant benefits become apparent after two years. This story follows a 2-year journey from the perspective of Geoffrey Zassenhaus, VP of Global Business Services at a large Pharma, and Kubair Shirazee, an Agile coach facilitating the implementation of business agility in a cross-BU, multiple-region environment at the Pharma.
Throughout the journey, we encountered several anti-patterns, achieved successful outcomes, and learned valuable lessons. Our hope is that by sharing our experiences, we can help leaders better understand the obstacles they may face and identify opportunities to overcome them.
