Especially in times or crisis, Agile is viewed as a magic pill to sort it all out. Is it? Organisations’ circumstances and needs vary, and so their aims can range from ‘keeping the lights on’ to ‘innovating to stay on top of the game’. Along this continuum, different approaches can be of benefit. Also, the maturity of product and service management need to be taken into account to define the approach that suits best.
Where does Agile, Lean or Kanban fit in better and are more helpful? Where organisations buy the magic pill to sort it all out, faux-Agile may well be stressing teams out and not helping address the issues of concern.
