Do we learn more when we study for a test or prepare to teach someone else? Does it make a difference? If so, how can trainers apply this in their classes?
As time passes, we are discovering more about how humans learn best. There are new ideas and observations emerging all the time. I was reading about a concept called “the protégé effect” which helps people learn more effectively. I started thinking about how Training from the BACK of the Room! can make use of the protégé effect to help people learn.
It turns out that Sharon Bowman‘s books already contain some activities which promote the protégé effect.
